HOMESTEAD CRATER
Who says you need an ocean to snorkel or scuba dive? The Homestead Crater is a geothermal spring hidden within a 55-foot tall volcano-shaped limestone rock. A hole at the top of the dome ushers in sunlight and fresh air while the interior remains a balmy 90–96 degrees. Swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and paddle board yoga are all options. DAUGHTERS OF UTAH PIONEERS
Take a stroll through the past, where you will find artifacts, photographs and perfectly preserved histories highlighting the early settlers from 1830-1900. Admission is free.

HOLIDAY LANES
You could say Holiday Lanes rolls old school. Keeping its décor since it’s opening in 1962, this family friendly bowling center features original ball returns and pin machines. The retro feel is part of this Heber staple’s charm. Even better? The pricing is straight from the 60’s too!

WASATCH AQUATIC CENTER
Dive into winter at the Wasatch Aquatic Center. The new facility boasts three different pools—one for competition, activity, and therapy. The center hosts swimming lessons for all ages, water aerobics, water Zumba, lap swimming and more. Kids and kids at heart will delight in the activity pool where they’ll find squirt guns, basketball hoops, sprayers, toys and slides. Membership pricing varies.

THE MOVIES
Turn off your latest Netflix binge and get your screen time in style. The town’s theaters, The Avon and The Ideal, are both iconic and historic. While the buildings are from another era, both theaters have been renovated and updated with the latest state-of-the-art equipment including digital projection, 3D, and surround sound. These classic single-screen venues only show one movie at a time and both are located on the town’s main street.
