<\/a>Free on the front lawn of the Homestead Resort, nestled in beautiful Midway, the Homestead Summer Concert Series has been a seasonal staple in the lives of many. Founded in the summer of 2003 by the late Ed Stevens (software engineer by day, singer\/songwriter by night), and now produced by his wife, Anne (also a musician and singer\/songwriter) these concerts bring quality entertainment to the community. The series features many family-friendly genres of music, so there is something for everyone. Many well-known, award-winning musicians, who have toured nationally and internationally, have been a part of this ongoing event.<\/p>\nEach year favorite local groups and artists, along with up-and-coming artists, share their talents for the enjoyment of all. The hope of the series is to fulfill the vision and legacy of the late Ed Stevens, to whom the event is lovingly dedicated.<\/p>\n
