WHY UNPLUG?<\/strong>
\nThe Heber Unplugged Challenge was created to discourage sedentary lifestyles and exposure to media violence by promoting healthy (and fun) activities.
\nAsking kids to turn off their favorite video game or television show isn\u2019t easy! So how in the world do you get kids to do it, and do it willingly? Often times the best way to change behavior is to focus on the positive. Rather than making it all about what they shouldn\u2019t be doing (watching TV, playing video games) instead focus on what they could be doing!<\/p>\n

\"hvg_s16_web_Page_055\"<\/a>HOW DO I UNPLUG?<\/strong>
\nWe\u2019ve teamed up with businesses all over the community to sponsor puzzle pieces for certain events. Once you\u2019ve completed an activity simply visit the sponsor business and get your puzzle piece. Keep track of all your puzzle pieces and build your puzzle as you go!<\/p>\n

COMPLETE THE PUZZLE TO WIN\u00a0$500 CASH PRIZE<\/strong>
\nWe challenge children and families to complete ALL 54 activities for a chance to win $500. That\u2019s right. We want you to do it ALL and one lucky family could win $500!
\nThe RULE is that you must complete and collect all 54 puzzle pieces. Stop by the Heber Valley Visitor Center between August 9 \u2013 19 Monday \u2013 Friday 9 to 5 pm to enter your name into the drawing. You don\u2019t need to be present to win, the winner will be contacted on Monday, August 22nd by phone. First activity is Monday, May\u00a030th at the Wasatch County Events Center Memorial Day Program at 8 am and the last activity is the Marshmallow Roast at Delta Stone Products on Monday, August 8th from 6 \u2013 7:30 pm. Get Unplugged this summer!<\/p>\n
