If tubing were an Olympic sport, the Soldier Hollow Nordic Center would be gold-medal training ground. As it stands, the venue actually is an Olympic training ground (and former venue) for biathlon and Nordic events.

Here you can ski—or learn to ski—the best cross-country and skate ski trails in Utah. The Soldier Hollow Nordic Center offers everything from expertly groomed easy rollers for beginners to challenging Olympic training courses.  The 31-kilometer trail system is also open to snow-shoers, so it’s important to know proper trail etiquette and passing guidelines.

For those looking for a slightly less exhausting way to spend an afternoon, the venue also boasts the longest winter tubing lanes in the state—over 1,200 feet of extreme sliding in each lane. Even better, a new conveyor lift system means faster moving lines and shorter wait times.

The award-winning lodge serves as a full-service base camp offering hot chocolate, food, equipment rentals, and a gift shop loaded with Olympic souvenirs.
